We service this pool weekly, my service tech noticed water level low on several occasions. we did a inspection of inside pool and noticed cracks in tile line (broken bond beam) in 2 locations. we drained pool and spa, repaired both bond beams. our customer decided after 30 years with same plaster finish it was time to do a face lift. we stripped plaster and tile, we added stacked stone on high bond beam where tile used to be.
we installed a more neutral tile to match stacked stone in give a more modern look. we added 2 new light units, 3 sprinkle features and step tile for depth perception. her pool heater was rusted out so we added a new energy efficient heater.
We found cracks in bond beam area of pool in 2 places. also several tiles were off from age. We stripped pool coping , tile , and plaster. we used steel reinforcement to repair bond beams. to update pool we added stacked stone on high bond beam area. we added Tuscany Italian tile on water line. we added Tuscany tile to accent steps and we plastered pool in white.
